We offer emerging, mid-career and established photographers opportunities to exhibit in diverse venues across the city of Carlisle and branching out across Cumbria. As an organisation we aspire to challenge ideas about the way contemporary photography can interact with both its surroundings and audience. In using a variety of unusual venues in the city of Carlisle we aim to attract a wider range of the viewing public with access for all, to create a buzz in the community.
We are working to develop relationships with different groups within the community to provide and promote local involvement in the Arts. Previous exhibition venues included The Old Courtrooms, Prison Cells, Church Grounds, Carlisle Railway Station, Tullie House Museum and Gallery and a disused Post Office.
We are a not for profit organisation, run by volunteers. Your donations help us support artists and bring photography to the community.
